St Roch’s farmhouse is ideally located at the gates of Luberon National Park in the quaint medieval village of Robion, just 12 miles away from Avignon’s historical town and theater festival, 30 miles from stylish Aix en Provence, Cezanne’s hometown, and one hour away from Marseille.

It is a perfect base for discovering the stunning medieval hilltop villages of the area and some of the most famous “postcard” sceneries and landscapes of Provence. Within a radius of 6 miles, you will find l’Isle sur la Sorgue with its colourful antique market, Gordes and its traditional stone houses, Roussillon with its remarkable earth tones, but also not far away Fontaine de Vaucluse, Bonnieux, Lacoste, Menerbes, Lourmarin, les Baux de Provence, Saint Remy, etc.

And since it is entirely acceptable to be a bit lazy when on holiday, you won’t have to walk more than 900 feet to reach all village shops (bakery, grocery, butcher, pharmacy, 3 restaurants, and the tourist office).

Guest book

After reviewing numerous vacation rentals, we decided on St Roch Farmhouse because of its uniqueness and the possibility to lodge 4 adult couples and two young boys. As my parents were coming weeks apart from my wife's 40th birthday, I wanted to do something special, a surprise. I looked into local restaurants and reception halls, but wasn't convinced. It needed to be special and memorable. The setting had to be unique. I then inquired with Mr Sebastian Jary about having it at the farmhouse since we weren't that numerous. I then started to collaborate quite closely with Mr Jary as the organisation of the event was difficult to do from Paris. Mr. Jary made suggestions on everything from local caterers to bakers. He even contacted them directly on my behalf to work out details and when finalised, delivery to the farmhouse. Every detail was attended to. My wife was extremely happy and still mentions how wonderful it was. (Thanks Mr. Jary!!) To top it all off we announced our pregnancy of our third child to our family at the farmhouse. Many memories!!!! We made great use out of the beautiful fireplace. My boys enjoyed the ping pong table and the pool. We adults relaxed in front of the fireplace, in the kitchen, and at the dining table. I'm an avid mountain biker and enjoyed the local trails. We will be returning!! Most memorable vacation in a beautiful French farmhouse and 5 star hospitality!!!

St Roch’s exceeded our expectations! We rented it with our family and we all fell in love with the house. We had a very good time in this very comfortable restored “mas”. The rooms are not next to each others and everyone has its own privacy, which was really unexpected as we travelled with the whole family. We fell in love with the house but also with the surroundings. Gordes, Menerbes, l’Isle sur la Sorgue, Avignon. There are so many breathtaking villages to discover in the area and we do understand now, why so many people come and live there. We might start thinking about it if we find a house like this farmhouse to buy. Many thanks to Sebastian for his warm welcome and his help throughout our stay.

The farmhouse has been restored with great taste as a family home with comfort and elegance. Comfortable beds, top quality linen, a large terrace for dinners "Al Fresco", well equipped kitchen. This is an ideal place for a family with young children or just for those who want to get away from it all. There is lots to do in the area, horse riding, tennis, golf, hill walking, visit of Chateauneuf du Pape vineyards or just stroll around the local farmer markets in the hilltop villages of Provence. We definitely recommend it!

We have enjoyed our stay in this superb and fully renovated old farmhouse. You immediately feel at home when you arrive; Sebastian did a wonderful job to marry old stones with modern comfort. Luxury is all around in the house but never too much. The living room has a beautiful and large fireplace, it was a great place to gather with our family. We enjoyed the courtyard very much; you can barbecue and enjoy it under the roof of the garden house. Although this 'mas' is located in the middle of a beautiful little village, you have full privacy; nobody can look into the garden nor into the house. The access to the house is well secured. Being in the village, you are just a few steps away from some small shops to go and get your bread and groceries. You have plenty of choices nearby to go and visit beautiful villages such as Avignon, Gordes, l’Isle sur la Sorgue and many others. Many thanks!
